Joe Kernan says Galway's footballers have both ability and hurt in their locker.

The Tribesmen have flattered to deceive for almost a decade now and Kernan reckons the hurt of those years could spur them on in 2010:

"They're great footballers, have great talent and - as they have said to me - they are disappointed with what they have done these last few years.

"Now they are hurting as well as having ability and to me that's a good sign.

"I have spoke to a lot of them individually. They know they can be better, and that's a great stepping stone." Tweet
