TUAM STARS Senior team were defeated by Cortoon Shamrocks in the County League final at Tuam Stadium on Sunday, 1-16 to 3-6 after extra-time. U-13s finished their season on Sunday by defeating Corofin in the Canney Cup final at Belclare, 1-8 to 2-4, after Corofin led by 7 points at half-time, 2-4 to 0-3. The Lotto draw in association with Tuam Shopping Centre for a jackpot of Ä8,900 was held in The Corralea Court Hotel. Numbers drawn were 2, 15, 17, 19. No one matched the four numbers. There may be a downturn in our economy and the Government may be slashing Christmas bonuses, but we are not slashing our bonuses for next week's Lotto draw, on December 21st. The ten Ä25 prizes will be will be increased to Ä50. So we will be playing Santa Claus this year! Get your ticket in good time as there is good demand for tickets.
