The intercounty lull ahead of the Connacht SFC final allows the county senior and intermediate football championships to resume this weekend. In the senior championship, there are double-headers at Tuam and Salthill on Saturday evening, and another double-header at each venue on Sunday. At Tuam on Saturday, Caltra meet Claregalway at 6 followed by Caherlistrane V Mountbellew-Moylough at 7.30. At Pearse Stadium, Barna play Annaghdown (6.00) and Tuam Stars are up against Micheal Breathnachs (7.30). And there's yet another double bill in the Salthill venue on Sunday afternoon: Moycullen V Killererin (3.00) and Corofin V An Ceathru Rua (4.45). Sunday's Tuam double helping is later in the evening and pits St Brendan's against Glenamaddy at 5.00 and Knocknacarra V Milltown at 6.45. Tweet
