Galway boss Kevin Walsh has named a team mixed with youth and experience ahead of their first competitive outing of 2019.

The Tribesmen welcome fierce rivals Mayo to Tuam Stadium this afternoon for what will be the first meeting between the sides at the St Jarlath's Park venue since 2011.

Maghnus Breathnach, Liam Silke and Cillian McDaid are all named in the starting 15 having recently returned to the squad as Walsh hands out senior debuts to John Daly, Dylan Wall and Michael Boyle.
