Galway manager Kevin Walsh intends to use Sunday's FBD League final to try out several players after making minimal changes during their three-match winning start to the Allianz League.

The Tribesmen are bidding to win the FBD League for the third year in a row and the ninth time in history when they take on Connacht champions Roscommon at Hyde Park on Sunday.

Galway couldn't have asked for a better start to their return to the top flight in the league, with wins over Tyrone, Donegal and Mayo already chalked up.

"We haven't had too many changes in the last three games," said Walsh. "So we're going to see a lot of changes.

"The lack of changes is down to winning contests, fellas doing well.

"That can be hard on people waiting to get in but when someone does well in the jersey, it's up to someone else to take it off them," added Walsh.

Corofin's All-Ireland club semi-final tomorrow and the Sigerson Cup final which includes a lot of Galway players for NUIG and UCD, will also ensure an opportunity for others on Sunday.

Galway have won the FBD League for the past two seasons and are bidding to complete a three-in-a-row for the first time.
