O'Brien rues loss of 'star' players

Devenish manager Michael O'Brien believes that teams with county players are suffering big time in the league.

In a new format, clubs are been told to play league matches without their county players and for many this has an impact on their results.

Devenish have three involved with the county, while they were also missing two of their main players in the defeat to Belleek last weekend.

"It affected us big time, especially when we were missing Anthony McGuinness and Chris O'Brien so we were probably missing our top five players," O'Brien told the Fermanagh Herald.

He added: "These starred matches, it's affecting every team with county men, you're just struggling with numbers, especially if you're missing two other players."
