Belleek minor boss hopeful

December 04, 2014

Liam Mimna is confident that Erne Gaels can make an impact in the Ulster minor club football championship.

The Fermanagh champions open their account against Donaghmoyne of Monaghan in Belfast on Sunday afternoon and Mimna believes they have a good chance of progressing to the last four:

"Overall, for Belleek it's great that we've a minor team in Ulster competition. It's only the second time in our history that we've won the county minor title," he say in The Fermanagh Herald.

"I think this team is good enough to go on and do very well in this competition, provided we don't come a cropper with more injuries.

"They've put up a great show this year for Belleek and I'm looking forward to the challenge against Donaghmoyne."
