Roslea 3-4
Teemore 1-5

The New York Gold Cup is on its way to Roslea for the fourth time in five years after the Quigley brothers led them to victory over Teemore at Brewster Park.

The winners and pre-match favourites prevailed, despite having Niall Cosgrove sent off with 10 minutes remaining.

Conor Quigley teed up his brother Seamus for the opening goal in the 10th minute. The former county star went on to add two more first half points, but an Eoin McManus goal in the 23rd minute left Teemore - who were relegated to Division 2 in this year's senior league - just a point adrift, 1-2 to 1-3, at the break.

The holders put themselves back in the driving seat two minutes after the restart when Sean Quigley grabbed their second goal. Teemore narrowed the gap with points from McManus and Declan Reilly before a Declan McDonald own goal three minutes from the end settled it.
