Gallagher makes club switch

Fermanagh keeper Ronan Gallagher
Fermanagh goalkeeper Ronan Gallagher has left St Gall's and joined Armagh side Madden.
Gallagher, who won an All-Ireland club SFC medal with the Antrim side has cited the travel as the main reason for his switch as he has been living in Armagh for the past few years.
The talented shot stopper is an integral part of the Fermanagh squad and he explained to Gaelic Life that the move should interfere with his county career.
"I have been living down in Armagh since I got married, and my wife had our second child in February," said Gallagher. "So it was too much of a drain, driving up and down the road to train.
"I had been thinking about it over most of the winter. I thoroughly enjoyed my time at St Gall's. I am extremely grateful for the time I spent there. I was extremely privileged to play with the players I played with. Unfortunately life means that you have to move on.
Madden ply their trade in the Armagh intermediate grade, but Gallagher feels that the step down in club levels shouldn't affect his place on the Fermanagh team.
"I don't think the team you play for should come into it. I don't think it really matters. Look at Eoin Donnelly, he has played every game for Fermanagh, and playing well, but he has been playing junior football."
