Fermanagh's Daryl Keenan admits he's "hurting over" the Division Four final defeat.

The Ernesmen suffered their first defeat of the league at Croke Park in Saturday night's bottom-tier decider against Wicklow at and Keenan says in The Irish Daily Mirror:

"We're very disappointed. Obviously things didn't pan out the way we wanted. The wake-up calls do no harm but being a final in Croke Park, we're obviously disappointed not to win the game.

"We'll be hurting over it, but we can't dwell on it for too long. We will get the heads down, work hard and we will move on.

"Everyone has to hold their hands up. We didn't work the ball well enough out of defence to the inside line, who were doing quite a bit of damage when we got it in to them in the first half.

"We couldn't get a stranglehold in midfield. Wicklow won a lot of the breaks but we'll sit down and look at the negatives."
