Derrygonnelly, Ederney, Erne Gaels and Lisnaskea made winning starts to the SFL Division 1 campaigns last weekend.

Derrygonnelly produced a barnstorming finish to defeat Belcoo 2-10 to 1-9, while a strong first half showing paved the way for Ederney's 1-8 to 1-5 victory over Tempo. In the battle of the promoted teams, three second half goals helped Erne Gaels to a 3-11 to 2-7 win over Teemore, while a late Kevin Curran goal saw Lisnaskea edge out holders Roslea on a 2-6 to 1-8 scoreline.

The other Division 1 game between Devenish and Newtownbutler ended in a 0-10 apiece draw.

In Division 2, St. Patrick's overwhelmed Kinawley 3-14 to 0-9, Enniskillen Gaels were 0-22 to 2-7 winners over Brookesboro, Aughdrumsee defeated Maguiresbridge 1-14 to 0-8, while the games between Derrylin and Irvinestown, and Coa and Belnaleck ended in draws.
