Fermanagh captain Ryan McCluskey can't wait to play at Croke Park again.
Peter Canavan's Ernesmen return to Headquarters for tomorrow evening's Division Four final against Wicklow and McCluskey tells The Irish News that it's a welcome bonus to line out in the GAA's flagship stadium, even if the attendance figure might be low for the double-header:
"Some people may give off that the Division Three and Four finals are in Croke Park and that there may not be that much support for the games but, from a playing perspective, it is great to get back playing in Croke Park.
"It is the place where everyone wants to play, no matter what the crowd is, and it is great for the younger lads in the squad to get a chance to play there. Hopefully it will be a memorable occasion.
"It is an added bonus for teams that if you do reach the finals they are held there. I am sure the rest of the sides are delighted that the finals are being played there.
"We have had some good and bad days and it has been a while since we have been in it now. It will hopefully help us prepare for the championship, playing in the wide open pitch, the drier pitch, the fast ball - it is like a championship occasion."
