However their Saturday's opponents are they formidable Louth side Knockbridge, who in this competitions semi-final saw off north Donegal side Sean MacCumhall's, with a massive victory of 3 goals 10 points to 1 goal 9 points for the Tirconnell side.
Knockbridge hurlers got their season off to a winning start with a comprehensive victory over Co. Down side Kilclief in the Tain Club Hurling League. The game was played in Darver on Saturday afternoon last in atrocious conditions and at half time Knockbridge led by 2-8 to 1-2. Knockbridge dominated the 2nd half and ran out winners on a score of 5-22 to 2-10. Their team line out was as below.
