A talented team of fit Fermanagh youngsters, last Saturday 29th August, 2010 contested three prelimalry and the Final of the Under 16 All-Ireland Hurling "C" Championship. The young Ernesiders played county Louth in Round "1" , which the Fermanagh lads handed down a scoring thrashing of 4 goals 6 points to a mere 7 points for the 'Wee County lads. Then in Round "2" Fermanagh after a brave battle went down to a powerful Tyrone side. In Round "3" the last of the prelimary rounds Fermanagh gave Sligo a scoring thrashing of 3 gls. 7 pts for the Ernesiders to a mere 4 points for the Yeats county lads. Then in the final Fermanagh were beaten by Donegal with a puck of the sliothar, with final scores registered 1 goal 3 points for the Lakelanders to 10 points for the Tyrconnel side.
