Brewster Park-Enniskillen.

A more prepared, determined and above all innately more talented Lisbellaw side retained the McKeown Fermanagh Senior Hurling Championship Trophy, when the most telling defeated their opponents Lisnaskea with a score of 3 goals 11 points to 8 points for the under the cosh Lisbellaw side. Though the St Patrick's side utilised two goal keepers, one each half, they were rarely troubled by the Emmett's weakfish attacks. Whilst this games opening quarter was competitively played, with tit-tat scoring and a total of four draws, this mini feast of fast and furious hurling only last until the twenty fifth minute, when Lisbellaw's left corner forward corner forward Sean Corrigan seized on an incoming slithor and then flew the 'Skea defence and then pucked in St Patrick's first goal. Once the Emmett's defence dyke had been breached it was only up to the imaginative Lisbellaw attack to blast home a further two goals and then rather easily win their fifth Fermanagh Senior Hurling Championship in a row. For Lisnaskea it is now down to six months training to prepare them for promotion up to Division "1" in the Armagh Senior Hurling League of 2011. For the triumphant Lisbellaw side it is a hectic four weeks preparation for the Quarter Final of the Ulster Club Hurling Championship, when St Patrick's taken on the winners of the Monaghan Senior Hurling Championship of this year. A far more formidable foe awaits the Lisbellaw side.

The Game -first half.

Tit-for-tat

In this lately rearranged Lisbellaw side it was the St Patrick's right corner forward Ryan Bogue who got the 2010 Fermanagh Senior Hurling Championship Final of 2010 off to a quick start, when he pucked over his and Lisbellaw's first point from a free. Very quickly Lisnaskea's right half forward and captain Paul McGolderick drew the game level for the first time, when he popped over his and sides first score from a free. It was now 'Skea opportunities go in front for the first time, when Emmett mid-fielder Shea Curran clipped over the east Fermanagh sides second point. But the equally resilient Lisbellaw returned the scoring compliment a short time later, when their left half back Karl Kehoe fired over from play, and thus creating the games second draw. It was the latter's team mate and right full forward Ryan Bogue, who put the St Patrick's who narrowly his side back in front with a modest score of 3 points Lisbellaw to 2 points for Lisnaskea. This scoring tit-for-tat continued, when Paul McGolderick popped over his second and his sides' third point from a free. Then under a minute Ryan Bogue and Paul McGolderick exchanged points to bring about the fourth draw with four points a piece. With the opening well over it was the more scoring ambitious Skea side who registered the next two scores. A single point from mid-fielder Barry Smyth and a second Emmett point from Paul McGolderick. With just over five minutes to this games interval the Emmett side must now deceived themselves that they were going to end then opening hive in front, though narrowly. However they were to get a great rude of weakening. This hurling drama unfolded with the slithor being accurately floated into the hand of Lisbellaw left corner forward Sean Corrigan who then flew through 'Skea defence and whilst doing so pucked in St Patrick's first goal. Lisbellaw now further added to the games first score with a modest point, which came from ace point scorer Ryan Bogue. With a firm scoring position now established the St Patrick's side sought build on that minor score, with another green flag raising score. A short time late after softly pucked in ball was easily handled by Skea goalkeeper Adrian Smith, who proceeded out via route, where was fairly and legitimaly disposed of the slithor by Lisbellaw's attacker Peter Timoney, who on getting hold of the ball flew speedily towards his opponents now empty goals, where next smashed the slithor into bottom of the Skea net. Moments later the games referee blew for half-time, with match's goal scoring Lisbellaw side able to bask in their successful two goal attacks. For Lisnaskea the games final would reveal how successful was their half-time deliberations.

Lisbellaw Dominate Both Park and Score Board.

It was a surprisingly scoring subdued Lisbellaw side that engaged the now obviously defeated Lisnaskea side. Similar to the games opening it was the St Patrick's side's centre half forward Peter Timoney who opened their scoring accounts with a second point from play. . However the similarity ended there, for it was the Lisbellaw side who now engaged this quarter's paltry scoring, with seventh point by Karl Kehoe from play. With the games third quarter quickly come to an end it was Lisbellaw's scoring opportunities that created further points from the later player, with his third and ninth points for himself and Lisbellaw. This quickly slowing down game eventually saw two slightly surprising point from Paul McGolderick for the very subdued Emmett side. However for the now dispirited Lisnaskea side those last scores was their final scoring swan song for side promised so much in the games opening quarter. Because there was most this still matches' fourth quarter to be played Lisbellaw kept there game winning tactics up to momentum. It bore serious scoring fruit, with a third St Patrick's goal with just over five minutes to the final whistle, when there man-of-the-match blasted home his second goal. Minutes after this game peter out to a full stop with the referee blown full time on an eventually one side contest.
