McCusker goal shocks Belcoo

Tempo upset the odds at the weekend when they visited league-leaders Belcoo and handed them a one-point defeat thanks to Niall McCusker's early second-half goal.
It had all been going to plan for the hosts in the first-half as they led by 0-7 to 0-5, with Ronan Ferguson and Ciaran Flaherty getting them off the mark early on.
Daryl Kennan registered Tempo's first response moments later, but scores from Paul McGrath and Niall McGovern sent Belcoo in two to the good come the interval.
Cathal McCaffrey trimmed Tempo's deficit to one early on in the restart, before the game's crucial moment arrived when a long ball in was fetched by McCusker and he made no mistake in firing the ball past Brian Jackson in the Belcoo goal.
The same player added a point in the next attack for good measure and although they had to battle in the closing stages, with Ryan Keenan to the fore. Tempo held-out for a deserved victory which sees them move up the table in Division One. Tweet
