Fermanagh midfielder Marty McGrath will not line-out in the number eight jersey for this Saturday's vital NFL Division Three clash against Ulster rivals Antrim.

McGrath is still recovering from the operation he had in December to correct a tendinitis problem and isn't likely to return to action for another few weeks.

The St Joseph's man's absence again this weekend will be seen as a blow to the Erne men, who will look to get their bid for promotion back to Division Two firmly on track with a scalp over the high-flying Saffrons this weekend.

"Marty will not be back for the weekend. He's only started training, a bit of jogging. It'll be a few weeks yet before he's back," said Fermanagh boss, Malachy O'Rourke. Tweet
