On a rare night of celebration for the hurling fraternity in the county, the victorious All-Ireland winning Fermanagh minor hurlers took their pride of place at a special function.

Last year, the youngsters defeated Tyrone in the All-Ireland 'C' final at Breffni Park, which was a major boost for hurling in the county and paves the way for the game to be developed even further.

Minor captain Niall Lunny was voted as the Sports Personality of the Month for August following a sterling performance in the final as the lads saw off the challenge of the Red Hand County. Tweet
