O'Rourke optimistic about Gallaghers' availability

Malachy O'Rourke is hopeful that the Gallagher brothers, Rory and Ronan, will be available for Fermanagh's NFL opener against Offaly on Sunday week. The brothers are currently preparing for St. Gall's All-Ireland club football semi-final against Corofin on February 21 but, in spite of this, the Fermanagh manager is hoping to be able to call on their services. Both played in last Sunday's McKenna Cup win over Armagh, but will play no part in tomorrow night's semi-final clash with Tyrone. "I think St. Gall's are actually playing a challenge match on Wednesday night so if the boys are not there, we will just have to put someone else in," O'Rourke said. "But we're certainly hopeful they'll be available anyway for the first league game against Offaly. Hopefully, they'll be available for the first two games if at all possible. "They are showing great commitment and it's great to have them there. Everything is geared towards the start of the National League and hopefully they'll be available."
