Fermanagh's hunger pleases O'Rourke

Fermanagh manager Malachy O'Rourke
Fermanagh boss Malachy O'Rourke praised his team's hunger and work-rate after yesterday's McKenna Cup first round win over Monaghan.
"We were just very keen to get the work-rate back to where it was a couple of years ago, the intensity, working as a team, and we were pleased with that," he said.
"Obviously there were areas that we need improvements on, but we were delighted to get off to a good start. When we reflected on last year, we felt that we had let our work-rate, our intensity, whatever you want to call it, drop a wee bit and that was the big thing for us.
"We wanted the boys to go out and really work hard for each other, work as a team, and that's what we did. We were pleased they did that and the added bonus to get the victory showed that the boys' attitude is right.
"That's the main thing we were looking for."
