Busy period for under-21s
January 08, 2010
Fermanagh under-21s are set for a busy few weeks albeit weather permitting as they are due to play a number of challenge matches ahead of the Ulster championship.
The Erne county were due to play Queen's University this weekend, but that match has fallen foul of the weather, but further matches against Antrim, Down and Louth are scheduled for the coming weeks.
Team manager Darren Chapman will be hoping to go further than last year when they bowed out to Down in the Ulster semi final. This year they face the winners of Tyrone and Derry.
Chapman can call on the experience of senior stars Rory Foy and Daryl Keenan, while the majority of last year's side are still eligible for this year's campaign.
