Dublin's Stephen Cluxton entered history books this evening by winning a record 12th Leinster senior football championship title with victory over Westmeath.
The Parnells shot-stopper surpassed former team mate Alan Brogan, who holds 11 provincial medals, after the Dubs produced the goods in the second-half to topple Tom Cribbin's side and secure their sixth title in-a-row on a 2-19 to 0-10 score-line.
Cluxton, who turns 35 in December, adds this latest crown to three All-Ireland titles, three National Leagues and five All Stars earned during a glittering inter-county career.
The capital men's victory at Croke Park today also saw former 'Footballer of the Year' Bernard Brogan join his brother in capturing an 11th Delaney Cup.
