Maurice Deegan and Joe McQuillan will take charge of this year's All-Ireland SFC semi-finals.

Laois match official Deegan will be the "man in the middle" when All-Ireland champions Kerry take on Tyrone on Sunday week, while Cavan's McQuillan will handle the second semi-final between Dublin and Mayo the following Sunday, August 30.

Their appointment to the semi-finals is likely to mean that neither will be considered for the All-Ireland final.

Meanwhile, Mayo's Jerome Henry will referee the Kerry v Derry All-Ireland MFC semi-final, while another Cavan match official, Noel Mooney, will take charge of the other semi-final between Kildare and Tipperary.
