Stephen Cluxton received the Delaney Cup today from someone he is very familiar with.

In what is believed to be a GAA first, Cluxton was presented with the silverware by new Leinster Council chairman John Horan who is principal of St. Vincent's CBS, Glasnevin where the Dublin captain teaches biology.

The All-Ireland champions hammered old rivals Meath by 3-20 to 1-10 in front of a crowd of 62,660 at Croke Park to capture the fourth successive Leinster SFC title and their ninths in 10 years.

In what was a devastating display, the Dubs had 10 different scorers as they cruised to their 53rd provincial success.
