The Bord na Móna O' Byrne Cup final between Kildare and DCU has been rescheduled for Friday 17 February under lights in Portlaoise.

The game was called off last Sunday after heavy rain made St Conleth's Park unplayable. With the Allianz Leagues starting this weekend, the absence of floodlighting at Newbridge and DCU involved in Irish Daily Mail Sigerson Cup duty over the next month, trying to schedule the refixture was a headache for Leinster Council.

A midweek date was the only possible answer and following discussions with both sides, it was decided to move the game to Portlaoise.

The match will have a 7.30pm throw in at the Laois venue. Tweet
