Corbett and Brogan named Players of the Year

Tipperary's Lar Corbett and Dublin ace Bernard Brogan have been named as the Vodafone Hurler and Footballer of the Year respectively.

The announcements were made on the night of the All Star awards and both were heavily tipped to take the prizes before the night.

The Young Hurler of the Year went to Tipperary's Brendan Maher while All Star midfielder from Cork Aidan Walsh picked up the Young Footballer of the Year award.
