Three changes for Dublin

March 11, 2010

Dublin's Bernard Brogan
Pat Gilroy has made three changes to the Dublin side which defeated Mayo last weekend in the NFL for this Saturday night's game against Monaghan at Parnell Park.

Bernard Brogan will make his first start of the campaign against the Farney County after impressing in Castlebar last Sunday and he is in named at full-forward in place of Kevin Bonnar.

The two other changes are in the defence which sees Rory O'Carroll and James McCarthy return from their Under 21 duties. O'Carroll starts at full-back instead of Paul Conlon, who suffered an ankle injury during last week's game, while McCarthy comes in at right half-back to replace Hugh Gill.

Meanwhile, there was further good news for the Dubs this week when ace forward Alan Brogan returned to full contact training recently after recovering from an operation on his hand.
