Naomh Olaf
Commiserations to the U21 hurlers on their loss to St Pats Palmerstown in the quarter final of the championship. Well done to St Pats and good luck in the semi-final.
The first Town Hall meeting will be held in the bar on Thursday 25th February 2010 at 9.00pm. A commitment to hold two such meetings per year was included in the Strategic Plan. It will be an open forum without an agenda at which Chairman Harry O‚Crowley will give an interim report on club activities since the AGM. This will be followed by an open Q&A session and the meeting will be concluded within an hour
A Race night is to be held in the clubhouse Friday 26th February in aid of Haiti House Building. There are still are still plenty of trainer and jockey slots available and we would urge support for this worthy appeal.

There was no winner of the Lotto Jackpot this week. Numbers drawn were 11, 12 & 13. The Jackpot will be worth •2,500 next week. Members are encouraged to play online through the club website.

Tyrrelstown
Congratulations to the Tyrrelstown Senior Team for their win over St. Brendans. The result was 0-8 to 2-09. A Big thanks to St. Brendans for hosting this game. Training for the under 8's and under 9's continues every Saturday at 10am until 11.30am. Erin Go Bragh
The first fundraising event of the year is being run by our hurlers.  It will take place on Friday 26th Feb at 8:30pm in the Paddocks.  Please contact Finbarr at [email protected].  The Club's AGM will be held on Thursday 25thFeb at 8:30pm in our new facilities at Mary Mother of Hope National School.  All nominations for officer / committee positions to be forwarded to the Club Secretary, George Burke by Thursday 18th Feb to [email protected].  Annual subscriptions are now overdue for 2010. Subscriptions should be paid annually in advance in December for the calendar year. The more we can get registered the more the club will make under the scheme.  Both our adult footballers and hurlers are looking for new members. This week there were wins for the U9, U11A, U12B & U14 footballers. † A date for the diary: The Annual Awards Night will be held in the club on 27th March. Further details will follow over the next few weeks. † Our 2nd Adult Football†team begin preparations this week with training commencing at 7.15 on Tuesday & Thursday evening. New players†& old ones with another year to give are asked to attend. † Adult Football Leagues begin on the weekend of 27th/28th Feb & Adult Hurling Leagues begin on the weekend of 6th/7th March † The Adult Football 7 a side competition will continue this Friday at 7.30. † Athletes News: Sarah McCarthy competed†at the national indoor multi-events held in Nenagh,†last week. Sarah won the under 16 girls achieving personal bests in long jump, high jump, shot put and 800m. This was a remarkable achievement.†† The Ladies Teams are holding a†QUIZ†NITE†in the main hall†this Friday 12th Feb at a later†TIME of†9.00pm. A team of 4 will cost eu 40.00. St Brigids
Official opening of the new changing rooms & hurling wall will take place this Sat. Proceedings will get underway at 5.15pm with the Dublin Camogie team facing Kilkenny. DCB Chairman Gerry Harrington will open the new facilities at 6.30pm followed by the clash of the Dublin Hurlers & Tipperary at 7.30pm. This will be followed by live music in the bar. Club Presentation night takes place on Sat Feb 27th. Tickets are eu20 with a full sit down meal provided & are available on 0872879233. Well done to Sean OíSullivan, Alan Nolan & Aodhan McEnerney who reached the Walsh Cup Final beating Wexford. They are due to play Galway on Sunday in Parnell Pk in the final. A major fundraiser will take place in the club on March 16th. The fundraiser will be a ìWhite Collar Boxingî event between St Brigids & Plunketts. There will be 13 bouts in total. Club Lotto takes place in Russell Pk this Thursday with a Jackpot of E15000.

Clann MhuÌre
Congratulations to the under 21s on winning the Championship.† This victory would not have been possible without the hard work of Joe and Tom. Well done to all! Intermediates had a useful challenge against Lucan Sarsfields.
Membership is now due and is as follows: playing adult eu100, adult social eu30, juvenile eu30 and family membership (1 or 2 adults and their children) eu120. Membership must be received by 14th of February.
There were no winners of the club lotto jackpot this week. Next's weeks jackpot will be eu6065. Please note the weekly skills camp has moved indoors for Winter. Nursery now takes place in the Sunshine House from 10:30am - 11:50am on Saturday mornings.
Adult training - Football every Tuesday and Thursday from 7:30pm - 9pm in O'Dwyers, Camogie Training every Tuesday and Thursday on All Weather pitch from 8pm. And Hurling Training every Wednesday night at 8pm.

Scoil Uí Chonaill

The adult football group have arranged a lecture by Dr. Muireann Cullen on Nutrition for Sports People in the clubhouse on Thur Feb 11th at about 9.30. All are welcome.
