Wanderers
Thanks to all who attended this years AGM and congratulations to those who were elected to the committee.Congratulations to Nicci Daly who has been selected on the first ever Ladies Blue Star team to play the Dublin Senior team on the 29th December in Kilmacud Crokes. All support welcome. No winner of this weeks lotto. Number drawn were 1-5-23. §25 goes to Frank Bowe, Derek Downey, Ken McDonnell,Paddy Brennen. Next weeks jackpot is §5000, with a second jackpot still to be won. Tickets available at the club or from any member. Set Dancing continues this Wednesday at 8.30 in the club house. Congratulations to the Mary Help of Christians Girls on winning their Cumann na mBunscoil Football Final in Croke Park last Saturday.
Well done to the girls & everyone involved.
Congratulations also to Louise Curry who has been selected as Goalkeeper on the Dublin Camogie All Star Panel for 2009.
The Dubs All Star Panel will play against Dublin in Kilmacud Crokes on Tuesday 29th December.

Dublin U16 Girls:
Well done to Sarah McCaffrey, Maeve Shannon, Lauren McClean and Stephanie Adams who made the final selection for Dublin U16 Girls.
Gaelic 4 Mothers finished this week with a great success with over 35 mammies taking part.
Nursery Christmas party was a massive hit with young and not-so-young last Saturday. Many thanks to all the helpers, mentors, parents and children for all their help. Pictures from the day are on the club website.

St Brigids
The car draw turned out to be a massive success with ticket sales very good. A big thank you to all buyers and sellers of tickets! Con McMenimen from Castleknock Flowers was the lucky winner. Special thanks to the organising committee. A new executive was elected at the AGM on Sunday. Fintan O'Sullivan is the new chairman. A big thank you to Paddy Davey and his team for their brilliant work this year. Inter & Senior Hurlers finished their seasons topping their respective leagues. Both sides had good wins over Na Fianna & Naomh Mearnog. Inter 1 Footballers went down narrowly to Naomh Mearnog in their play-off. Well done to the Ladies Minor Footballers on their Shield victory. The kids Xmas was a great success with all involved enjoying a great day. Reminder to all members that the club's shop has some great stocking filler's for Xmas. Club Lotto takes place this Thursday in Russell Pk with a Jackpot of E15000.
Erin go Bragh
Well done to our U13 girls who came out on top against Ballyfermot De La Salle in the Under 13 Shield Division 3. 2009 has been another great year for them. Thanks to all the players, mentors and parents for all their hard work through the year. Santa came to Erin go Bragh last Saturday and due to a technical fault with his sleigh, Dublin Fire Brigade had to rescue him and help him to make the party. Thanks to Sean, Niall and all the other volunteers who helped make this a very memorable day for all the kids from the club. The December Newsletter will be published this week and available through the normal channels. Annual subscriptions are now due for 2010. Subscriptions are paid annually in advance in December for the calendar year. Members subscriptions cover insurance costs, the purchasing of various types of equipment needed to run a GAA club including footballs, sliotars, hurleys, helmets, cones, portable goals, bibs, first aid kits. Equipment is also provided to children for the duration of a training session if required, Hire of the Hall, Entry & Affiliation fees to relevant competition, Referees fees, Future development of club facilities. There was no winner of last weeks' lotto jackpot. Numbers were 9 12 25 32. This week's jackpot is Eu4,600. The lotto draw will be held in the Paddocks this Friday. All welcome. Our Senior Footballers had a great win over St Pats on Sunday to secure their status in AFL2. A late goal by Eoin Kinsella and a point by David Lynch sealed victory on a scoreline of 2-6 to 0-8 in a tight hard fought game. Well done to Des Mackin, Kevin Biranne, Paddy Feehan, Kerry and all the lads.
Congratulations to Keith and Sylvia Hannon on the birth of a baby boy Leo John, a first grandchild for John and Mary Hannon of Ballawley Court. Congratulations also to John and Joanne Keane on the birth of a baby girl Cara Heather, a first grandchild for Sean and Heather Keane. Emmet OGrady and Gillian Coughlan have announced their engagement and we congratulate them both and wish them all the best for the future.
Best wishes to Pat McDonough and Finbar ODriscoll for a speedy recovery following recent illness. Table Quiz in support of a night for Bill Stafford in the function room Wednesday December 16 at 8pm. Fantastic raffle prizes on the night including a flat screen LCD TV.
There was no winner of the Lotto Jackpot this week. Numbers drawn were 8 19 28. The Jackpot will be worth 1,900 next week. Our Monster Christmas Lotto Draw takes place on Sunday December the 20th 2009. All Lotto tickets purchased for the 6th, 13th and 20th of December will go into the draw. On the night of the 20th there will be over 30 prizes; this includes the Lotto Draw, the Christmas draw and the special draw for those attending on the night.

Dub Stars 2010: Meeting for all Volunteers and stewards this Thursday evening 17th @ 9pm in the club. All members are invited.
The Club Shop will be open this Thursday 17th December from 7.00 - 9.30pm. New Style Polo Tops, Track suits, Jerseys, Socks, hurls, wind breakers etc are now available.
This Saturday, 19th December from 7.30pm. The Mentors and Supporters Christmas Party - DJ Shay will host the evening with his Christmas quiz and loads of spot prizes. Monster hamper raffle will also be held.
Athletics Christmas party will be held on Wed 16th starting @ 7pm. Parents and athletics members are most welcome. Traditional Music Night Tonight: This Tuesday Night in the bar from 10.15 The Pakie Doran band will provide the music.

Under 21 team progressed to the final of the Championship with a convincing win over Castleknock in Porterstown on Sunday. Nursery training continues on Saturdays at 11am in the club sports hall. 5-a-side tournament takes place on Sunday 27th of December. For further details see posters around the club and village.

O'Dwyers
Juvenile Camogie for 9-13 year olds has moved to the Sunshine House on a Wednesday night pitch from 7-8.30pm.
Please note the weekly skills camp has moved indoors for Winter. Nursery now takes place in the Sunshine House from 10:30am - 11:45am on Saturday mornings.
Inter Football Team remain in AFL3 for 2010! Following Garda v St. Peregrines match on Wednesday, O'Dwyers managed to stay out of the relegation play off and now look forward to playing in AFL3 again next year.
Social: Bingo every Wednesday night in O'Dwyers GAA Club. Bingo starts at 8.55pm. All welcome.

Scoil Ui Chonaill
Despite the lack of games it was a busy weekend at Scoil. The under 10 girls has a great games session followed by a party in Scoil on Saturday. There was also a very successful outing to Fairyhouse for the adult teams ending in a session in the clubhouse. Thanks to Michael Egan and Eoin O'Carroll for organising what, hopefully, will be a regular Christmas outing. Thanks too to Carmel Martin who organised another successful bag packing event in aid of funds. Carmel would like to thank all those who manned the checkouts on Friday and Saturday. Most importantly, on Sunday the 20th at 7p.m. our championship winning minors will be celebrating their win in the club with a medal presentation. All are welcome so please come along and show the lads how proud we are of their achievement. Executive meeting Wednesday 16th at 8.30p.m.
