O'Brien expecting tough test from Dubs

Kevin O'Brien says Wicklow are bracing themselves for a tough test against Dublin in Sunday's second round O'Byrne Cup clash, regardless of what team their new manager Pat Gilroy puts out. With the Dublin panel not due home from a training camp in La Manga until Saturday, it is unclear whether they will opt to use any of their first choice players or stick with many of those who enjoyed a surprisingly comfortable victory over Offaly under stand-in managers Mick Bohan and Neil Curley last Sunday. But Pat Gilroy will definitely be in charge and O'Brien says Wicklow won't be underestimating whatever side they face. "I'm sure if we'll be playing the Dublin a, B or C team," the former All-Star said. "In some ways, you might be better off playing their A side because any new fellas will be absolutely bursting a gut to impress Pat, but it's certainly a nice tie for us to get at this early stage of the season and one we'll be looking forward to."
