Naomh Olaf GAA Club has appointed former Armagh forward Des Mackin as it's Senior Football manager for 2009. Des played football at the highest level winning both Senior and Minor Ulster titles with his native county and three Dublin Senior and a Leinster Senior Club Championship with Na Fianna. Naomh Olaf Gaa Club is delighted that Des will be involved with our Senior Footballers in the coming year and looks forward to mounting challenges in both AFL 2 and the Senior Football Championship. The Club Lotto jackpot was not won this week. The numbers drawn were 21, 24 & 29 and next weeks jackpot is 1100.The Monster Christmas Lotto Draw was a great success with Gay Clarke of Balally Grove the winner of the first prize of a hamper. We would like to thank all who supported us in the draw with particulate thanks to Hickey Electrical, VNE Logistics and the Beacon Hotel for sponsoring some of the prizes this year. Copies of the Dublin Year book are available from behind the bar at a cost of 15. Its a great publication and would make a lovely present.
