Gilroy names squad

Dublin senior football manager Pat Gilroy
New Dublin football manager Pat Gilroy has announced his squad for the annual Dubs Stars match at Naomh Barrog on January 1.
Gilroy's panel includes plenty of familiar faces, among them veteran midfielder Ciaran Whelan, while newcomers include Sean Breheny from St. Jude's, Alan Hubbard from Ballymun Kickhams and Thomas McGrath of Fingal Ravens. The football clash is preceded by the hurling equivalent as Anthony Daly's Dublin face the Dubs Stars at 12.30 pm.
