Rising Cavan football star Ray Cullivan has transferred to former Dublin senior kingpins St. Sylvester's. The DCU student joins the Malahide outfit, who are the Dublin senior 'B' champions, from his native Ballyhaise. Cullivan, who has been named in new Cavan manager Tommy Carr's first squad, played in the Ulster championship two years ago but his fledgling career was then stalled after he suffered a cruciate ligament injury. A talented forward, he previously played for the Ireland under 17 side against Australia and is expected to be a big player for the Breffnimen in 2009. Tweet
