Naomh Olaf
JJ Martin has stepped down as our Senior Football Manager and John McGrath and Kevin Birrane, long time selectors have also indicated that they will not be involved in 2009. Naomh Olaf would like to thank them both for all their efforts and wish them both all the best.The club lotto was not won - numbers drawn were 1,6 & 29 - the jackpot is now 2400. Limited(50) 5 Turkey/Ham (well review this part of the prize!!) draw on Saturday in the Bar. Christmas Trees will be on sale again this Saturday and Sunday. Thanks to all the Naomh Olaf families that took part in the Barnardos Santa Dash last Sunday. Last Sunday's Minor A Football Final against St Brigid's was postponed
due to frozen pitch. Final has been re-fixed for Saturday next 13
December again in Balgriffin. Throw in at 2 oíclock. Thanks to
supporters who travelled in vain on Sunday. Hope to see as many and

Congrats to our cÈili dancers who qualified for the Leinster Final of

On juvenile front, great display from U10 footballers in defeating

Finally, 2009 club calendar almost sold out. Move quickly to avoid
not getting one. Calendars are Ä10 each or three for Ä25 and can be

O'Dwyers
Training: Camogie and Ladies Football Training has ceased for their Christmas Break. Training will resume in early January. New members for these teams are always welcome.
Juvenile: The Nursery skills camp is run from 11am to 12.30pm every Saturday morning in the Combined Clubs for Winter and costs 2e per child. The camps are aimed at 5-8 years old and they learn about both Hurling and Football. Contact Aidan Smith or Mary Kenny for more details.
Reminder for Juvenile Players, Mentors and Parents - Juvenile Awards will take place this Saturday in the Club House. Also Santa will be paying a special visit to O'Dwyers this Sunday.

O'Dwyers GAA Club have produced a Club Calendar for 2009. Calendars are on sale on Tuesday & Thursday night in the Club House. They are 10e each.
Clontarf
Congratulations to Sue Lillis who was awarded the VHI Leinster Clubperson of the Year award by Cuman Peil Gael na mBan. Sue has played a major role both on and off the pitch and has been instrumental in growing the game in Clontarf ensuring it has the third largest player base in Dublin. Minor Footballers Championship semi final V Round Towers (C) was postponed and will be played next Sunday in Clondalkin. Nursery Xmas Party takes place at the clubhouse next Saturday, details of times for the various groups will be text to all parents. Well done to all the Girls who received their medals at the Ladies Awards evening in the clubhouse on Sunday. Thanks to Geraldine Giles (President, Cumann Peil Na Mna) and Denise Masterson (Dublin Ladies) for attending the event. St Brigids
Both Championship Finals were postponed due to the current weather. They will be now take place this Saturday in Balgriffin. The Minor Footballers face Na Fianna at 2pm while the Hurlers face Naomh Barrog at 3.30pm. Get out to Balgriffin & give both teams the support they deserve. U16 Ladies Footballers go for the Double tonight in Russell Pk, facing Scoil Ui Chonail at 8pm. Senior Footballers face Kilmacud in League Semi-Final at 7.30pm this Wednesday in Kiltipper Rd. If the lads win, they will play the final this Sunday at 11am in O'Toole Pk. Junior A Footballers face Clontarf in Promotion Final this Saturday at 7pm in Russell Pk. The Kids Xmas Party was thoroughly enjoyed by all. Best of luck to the incoming executive & special thanks to the outgoing officers. Several items have been reduced in the club shop in the run-up to Xmas so plenty of bargains to be obtained especially the heavy all-weather jackets which are badly needed at the moment. Santa will visit Erin go Bragh this Saturday at 10am in the school hall for our Christmas party. Well done to Fionn McDonnell, Conor Redmond, Rudy Reeves and Caoimhe Kenny who won the first club Halla Ball tournament last Friday. Membership forms for 2009 will be available in the school hall on Tuesday 09th December from 6pm-9pm or can be downloaded from the website. Our club lost a great man, a great friend and a great servant last week in Tony Spratt. Tony, one of the nicest men you could ever meet, lost his battle with cancer. Our thoughts are with his family and friends at this moment, ar dheis d?© go raibh a anam. The club will be holding an end of year centenary celebrations night in the Coolquoy Lodge on St. Stephens night, your support for this night is greatly appreciated, more information to follow. Tickets are currently on sale for the club members christmas draw, tickets are Eu10 each and is limited to 500 tickets only. There are some fantastic prizes on offer and your support is very welcome, tickets are available >from club members, draw takes place in the Brock Inn on Sunday 21st December. The U-16 7-a-side blitz was a great success on Saturday, well done to St. Peregrines who won it. Juvenile training is now finished for the year, see club notes for details as to when training will resume. The annual married vs. singles match in aid of charity will take place on St. Stephens morning in the complex, if you are interested in playing contact Stephen Reilly 0863152635. We offer our congrats to neighbours Garristown and K.Crokes who won their league and championships respectively recently.

Our AGM was held on Thursday last in the Clubhouse. Best wishes to the incoming committee for 2009 and many thanks to the outgoing 2008 committee for their efforts over the past 12 months. Well done, well deserved and congratulations to Juvenile Secretary Josephine Donohue and club-member Denis Malone who picked up the Club Person of the Year and Hall of Fame awards respectively at the Adults Awards night on Saturday. Congratulations to all of our Adults Players of the Year. Thanks to everybody for making the 'St.Vincent de Paul' quiz night such a success. Still a few days to buy and sell Christmas Draw tickets. Congratulations to the under 11 girls on their Shield final victory but hard luck on the adult teams. Matches were scarce this week but well done to the boys under 7 s who played their hearts out on Saturday morning in their very own blitz Please support under 16 girls in their league final at Castleknock next Tuesday at 8p.m.There is an executive meeting on Thursday at 9.30p.m. It s all happening at the club next weekend. There is a coffee and cake sale next Saturday morning 13th December between 10a.m. and 1p.m. So buy your Christmas cake and don t forget those stocking fillers in the club shop which will also be open that morning. Don t forget too that Santa comes to the club on next Sunday 14th at 4p.m. It s always a fun event so do bring the children. The Christmas club night will be on Saturday 20th at 8p.m. and all are welcome. Finally a big thank you to Carmel Martin and all those who helped with the bag packing in Artaine Castle at the weekend. Well done to all.
