O'Sullivan eager to start

Cian O'Sullivan is eager to regain his place in the Kilmacud Crokes starting VX for Sunday's Leinster club football final against Rhode following his return from a four-week suspension.
The up-and-coming centre back was controversially red-carded in the first round win over Kildare champions Celbridge, and admits that he was an uneasy spectator during the games against Newtown Blues and Navan O'Mahony's.
"Paddy Carr (Crokes manager) was on to me saying, 'see how it feels now being on the sideline and not being able to get out there'. It's very frustrating," he said.
"I couldn't believe it. I thought we were going to lose the Newtown game with ten minutes to go. They were up by a point and then (Mark) Vaughan rescued us with that goal. A brilliant goal.
"The Navan game was just as bad even though we were ahead for most of the game. They always looked a threat. We knew how good a team they were so that was a tough one as well."
O'Sullivan's impressive form during the Dublin championship has put him in the reckoning for a place in Pat Gilroy's squad next year, but he's not thinking that far ahead.
"The only focus now is the game on Sunday," he affirms. "But if something like that was to come along, I'd obviously be honoured to be given the chance to play and be part of the Dublin set-up."
