If you're one of the lucky ones going to Croke Park for this evening's sell-out All-Ireland SFC semi-final between Dublin and Mayo, make sure to bring your rain jacket because there is plenty of rain expected.

According to Met Eireann, it will be "rather cloudy today with just the odd bright or sunny spell breaking through. Showers will merge to longer spells of rain in places, some heavy and prolonged with the risk of spot flooding. The isolated thundery burst possible. Highest temperatures of 16 to 19 Celsius.

"Blustery or windy at times over parts of Leinster and Munster in fresh to strong and gusty southwesterly winds with winds near gale along south and southwest coasts, elsewhere winds mostly light to moderate west to northwest in direction."
