Dublin defender Philly McMahon says he expects team mate Bernard Brogan to be back in action for the All-Ireland champions once the veteran forward finishes his rehabilitation.

There have been fears that Brogan may have played his last game for the Dubs since news broke of that the 33-year-old damaged his cruciate knee ligament 10 days' ago.

However, McMahon, who has won five All-Ireland titles alongside the Oliver Plunketts clubman, says he expects to see him back for Jim Gavin's men again.

"I haven't really spoken to him, but I'm sure he'll be back and ready to go again once he has got his rehabilitation done. He's been through it before so he'll know what the process is," McMahon told Today FM.
