Castlewellan 0-11

Kilcoo are celebrating a four-in-a-row in Down after cruising to victory over Castlewellan at Pairc Esler.

John 'Shorty'Treanor's underdogs, who were appearing in their first final since 2001, had no answer to the power and pace of the champions who led by 2-2 to 0-4 at the interval thanks to goals from Jerome Johnston and Paul Greenan in a five-minute spell.

A Daniel Morgan point closed the gap early in the second half, but the game was ended as a contest on the three-quarter hour mark when Ryan Johnston helped himself to the Magpies' third goal.
