(After extra-time)

Kilcoo caught fire in extra-time this afternoon to send Crossmaglen Rangers crashing out of the Ulster club senior football championship in this quarter-final replay.

Before an attendance of 9,670 at the Athletic Grounds in Armagh, the Down champions dominated the first-half proceedings and took in a 0-5 to 0-2 lead at half-time thanks to the scores of Darragh O'Hanlon (2), Gerard McEvoy, Ryan Johnston and Paul Devlin.

Despite losing Darryl Brannigan to a red card, the visitors' kept their noses in front in the face of another spirited comeback from Cross, and it was a goal from the penalty spot via Paul Devlin that looked to have them on their way.

However, in true Crossmaglen style, the home side notched three quick points before Tony Kernan goaled to leave them trailing by one heading towards the dying stages. Martin Ahern's point forced extra-time for the second time between these two new rivals.

The dismissal of Stephen Kernan and goals from Ryan Johnston and Devlin proved too much of a blow to recover from for Cross, as Kilcoo deservedly marched through to the semi-finals.
