The Seniors had no match last week but will be looking to build on their recent good form when they travel to Glasdrumman on Friday night. Throw in is at 7.30pm.

The Reserves had a narrow 2-15 to 2-14 win in Dundrum on Sunday night. St Johns started the brighter of the 2 sides scoring the first 2 points, through Darren Savage and Marty Keenan. Dundrum replied with a score of their own, St Johns then got their first goal when an expertly mishit shot from Alan Henderson fell into the arms of Darren Savage who finished to the net. Dundrum hit a goal and a 2 points of their own but St Johns hit 4 unanswered points to leave the score St Johns 1-6 Dundrum 1-3.

The second half started with Dundrum getting a few scores to tie the game, St Johns then replied with a goal and 2 points, Marty Keenan with the goal and 2 Brian Fitzpatrick points. Dundrum again drew level. The game was evenly poised going into the last quarter with the scores level when Joe Lennon was sent tumbling in the area giving the ref no choice but to award the penalty. This gave Marty Keenan a great opportunity to push St Johns towards victory but he failed in his first attempt with the keeper saving well, he then hit the post with the rebound and finally missed an open net when the ball came back to him.

St Johns old guard then steadied the ship with points from Sean Kelly and Alan Henderson. With Darren Savage getting on the score sheet a few times, Marty Keenan regrouping after his earlier misses to get a few scores and Anthony Doran pointing St Johns held on after a late rally from Dundrum to hold out for a one point win.

St Johns Under 16s made the trip to Dundrum to take on St Joseph's on Thursday evening in what was a perfect evening for a match. The boys started at a blistering pace making it difficult for St Joseph's to get out of their own half and turned the pressure they were applying in scores and moved into a 2-4 to no score lead, with Owen Moag and Michael McCourt getting the goals, Aodhan Morgan hit 3 points with Michael getting the other point.

St Josephs then got their first score of the game when they scored a well worked goal and quickly followed this with another after a high ball in was fisted to the net. This spurred the young Johnnies into another gear and they held St Josephs scoreless until the half with Oisin the pick of the defenders ably assisted by his brother Conal and Dylan. Jamie made some great saves and marshalled his defence well. During this period St Johns scored a further 1-12 to move into a commanding lead at half time. Michael McCourt hit his 2nd goal of the match and also added 2 points, Aodhan tagged on 4 more points with Ciaran Magorrian, Sean O Neill 2 points each, Owen and Paul Walsh getting a point a piece. HT score St Johns 3-16 St Joseph's 2-0

St Joseph's started the second half in determined fashion and hit 2 goals in the first few minutes to close the gap but St Johns replied with a goal of their own through Tiernan Noade who also added a nice point, Aodhan Morgan then hit a long range free over the bar to consolidate the Johnnies lead. St Josephs hit a further 1-2 as the young Johnnies tired in the heat after the huge effort on the night. They finished with a flurry however with Michael McCourt getting a further 2 goals to finish the scoring on the night and taking his personal tally to 4-3. Final Score St Johns 6-18 St Josephs 5-2

This was a good display from the boys with a high work rate from the start and well worked scores created all night. The defence was well marshalled by Oisin who impressed on the night, Sean and Aodhan dominated midfield with both getting on the score sheet, Owen caused their defence trouble all night with all the forwards excelling. Pearse worked hard and Ciaran took a couple of nice scores. Michael McCourt was the pick of the forwards scoring 4-3. Well done boys
