Camogie
SCL - Clonduff v Portaferry
Well done to Senior Camogs who got their first League points on the board with a win at home over Portaferry - great game all round but U16 and Minor players really stepped up to the plate!!! Paula Gribben who was leaving for The Big Apple the next morning scored 1-6!
Next game Wednesday 22nd May away to Ballyholland
Longstone Juvenile Tournament
Clonduff sent three teams, one each at U6, U8 and U10 to the Longstone Tournament on Sunday 19th May. It was a great day for the girls particularly the very young U6 team who were playing their first ever tournament. Lots of stars in the making no doubt!

Clonduff Camogs are running a fun table quiz in the clubrooms on Friday night @ 830. Refreshments served. All welcome and your support would be appreciated.

Football
PRFL - Kilcoo II v Clonduff II and Clonduff II v Rostrevor II
Clonduff II played two games within two days. They put on a great display in Kilcoo on Friday evening but fell short on a score 0f 0-18 to 3-8 to a very strong Kilcoo team. On Sunday afternoon they hosted Rostrevor II. Again after a good performance they were beaten 2-8 to 3-13, not really a true reflection of the game.
Minor Football - Clonduff's Minor participated in the South Down Sevens on Tuesday night in An Riocht. They won their group on score difference but lost their semi final by 4 points to eventual winners Mayobridge. Panel: Shane Milligan, Jack O'Hagan, Declan Gribben, Liam McAleavey, Mark Bradley, Kevin Smith, Brendan Britton, Rory McQuaid, Stephen McConville, Thomas Murnin
U16 ACFL - The U16 Footballers secured a one-point win over Burren in an entertaining game in Clonduff Park on Saturday afternoon Clonduff 1-10 Burren 0-12
SD U14FL - The U14s suffered a heavy defeat at home to Burren on Monday night
SD U12FL - The Div 1 and Div 4 teams secured a double at home to Ballyholland teams on Sunday morning.
U6 Fundamentals in Clonduff Park -
A Fundamentals Programme aimed at youngsters and their parents and for children aged 4 to 6 runs every Sunday morning in Clonduff Park commencing at 10.30am. It is co-ordinated by Club Coaches Kieran Kelly and Nigel McPolin but it is the parents who actually lead the activities!

Camogie
The Senior Camogs got their belated season under way during with week with two games - home to Liatroim and away to Portaferry. Despite being depleted though injury, holidays and exams, the girls played some good Camogie but found the going tough and were defeated in both.

Hurling
The Senior Hurlers Get a Second Win - Clonduff 3-12 v Kilclief 3-8
This was the proverbial 'game of two halves'. With a strong wind blowing across the pitch that presented no great advantage to either team, Clonduff defended the Rathfriland end goals in the first half. Giving the recent weather, the top pitch was in good condition to allow for good hurling. Clonduff trailed at half time 3-4 to 2-4 but turned it around in the second half with a solid performance.
Team: David Quinn, Jamie Lowry, Christopher Brown, Shane Quinn, Sean Downey, Shay Murnin (0-2), Rory Mathews, Danny Nugent, Ciarán Smyth, Jamie Lynch (0-4), Shane Murray, Pauidi Mathews (0-1), Rian Brannigan (2-1), John Murphy (0-3), Darragh Downey (1-1); Subs Used: Francis Quinn, Andrew Quinn, Christopher Young

Ladies Football
Senior Ladies intermediate League, Clonduff 0-8 v Rostrevor 1-7
Clonduff entertained League leaders Rostrevor on Thursday evening and despite dominating the majority of the game the girls came out the wrong side of a 2 point defeat. Clonduff started the better but found it difficult to get scores, mainly due to some poor decision making when in front of goal and being wasteful in possession whilst at the other end Rostrevor took their chances when they got the opportunity, Unfortunately this is how the pattern of the game continued and despite some late pressure from the Clonduff girls Rostrevor held on for victory. Despite narrowly losing there are a lot of positives to take from the game and with a bit more commitment from the girls there is no reason why they can't achieve their goals this year. Team: Louise Savage, Lizzie Barry, Colleen Mc Shane, Bridget Quinn, Jenna Boden, Ccoimhe Morgan, Megan O Reilly (0-1), Kelly Fitzpatrick (0-1), Jackie Gilmore, Leanne McAleavey (0-1) Onagh McClorey (0-3), Michaella Mc Conville, Leona Killen, Orla Gribben (0-2) Roisin Mulholland, Therese Mc Stay, Tara Mc Neil.
U14 Challenge game v Bryansford
With no league game this week the U14s played a challenge game in Bryansford and had a convincing win with some excellent performances all over the field. Panel: Shannon O'Reilly, Niamh Fitzpatrick, Summer Brannigan, Ellen Lively, Niamh Fearon, Margaret McEvoy, Clara Cowan, Erin Rafferty, Ciara O'Reilly, Cara Boden, Laura Mackin, Molly Brown, Tierna Mullen, Tamzin Brannigan, Caitlin Branagan, Jemma Dillon, Corshenna McCoy.
U12 LFL - Kilcoo v Clonduff
Another good win for Clonduff U12 girls in the Ladies Football League. This was another great team effort from all  the girls with some brilliant individual  performances. The skills displayed by some of these young girls was a joy to watch considering that a number of them have only been playing football for a few weeks. Training continues on Sunday morning at 10.30 am in the field.
Panel: Hannah Wilson, Erin Lively, Paddi Fitzpatrick, Seanin McGarry, Sinead Woods, Fionna Burns, Isabella O'Hare, Alanna Donnan, Sarah Kelly, Aoife Brown, Elizabeth O'Hanlon, Aoife McCusker, Una Fearon, Orla McCusker, Emma McGreevy, Ella McCumiskey, Lauren Kane, Rhiannon McKeown, Katie Cunningham, Aimee Lowry, Elana Devlin, Grainne Devlin, Ally Magee, Rachel O'Hanlon, Evie Lyness-Feenan, Paula McGarry
Ladies Football Referee Course
A "Grab Your Whistle" referee course for U12 Go Games, will be held on Monday 27th May 2013 in the Thierafurth Inn, Kilcoo 7pm to 10pm. Each home team needs to be able to supply the referee for U12 Go Games so it's imperative that we have a number of Go Game qualified referees in the club.
