McCartan laments over injury concerns

Down manager James McCartan admits that the length of his injury list is worrying.
Burren star Anto McArdle is the latest player to be placed on the treatment table after he suffered a groin injury while playing for his club.
McArdle is a doubt for the Ulster championship opener against Fermanagh and he joins Danny Hughes, Declan Rooney, Dan Gordon and Damien Rafferty on the sidelines.
"We have had Declan Rooney and Damien Rafferty out for some time and now with Danny Hughes and Dan Gordon along with Anto on the injured list this means that we have a considerable raft of experience on the sidelines," McCartan told the Belfast Telegraph.
On a more positive note, Conor Maginn, Niall Brannigan, Aidan Brannigan, and Donal O'Hare, were all used as subs against Cork, and are in the reckoning to face the Erne County.
