Down minor footballers will be hoping for another competitive match before the Ulster championship.

This weekend they take on Donegal at Ballybofey in the Ulster Shield semi final. In the group stages Down defeated Cavan, who are in the semi final proper, but they lost to Monaghan and Armagh.

Despite being not consistent, Down have a decent side and a win over Donegal is a distinct possibility. Tweet
