Burren manager Frank Dawson is not getting carried away with his side's hammering of Mayobridge.

Last weekend, Burren dished out a 5-11 to 1-8 hammering to their old rivals and thus send out a warning to all other teams in the league.

"At the end of the day, it's a league win," Dawson stated to Gaelic Life. "That's all we get for it, but a win's a win.

"We had a few more young fellas playing, they competed well and they took their chances well. It was very competitive, What Mayobridge/Burren match wouldn't be, but it was a great opener to the season for both teams." Tweet
