Thursday 8th March, camogie workshop on delivering an effective wall ball session with double All Ireland winning coach Joe Passmore 

 

Saturday 10th March, the Farm Families Health Checks Programme at Dunavil, to book your place contact the club, only 6 places remaining. Also, Coffee Morning in aid of Kingdom Camogie, please support.

 

Wednesday 14th March, the Men's Shed visiting Kingspan Stadium for a Men's Health Awareness Morning, Stadium Tour and lunch.

 

Friday 16th March, Free Irish Stew and Concert at Dunavil from 5.30pm to 7pm.

 

Saturday 17th March, cross community parade in Newry

 

Monday 26th March, Men's Shed Red Cross First Aid course, names to the Shed asap as places are limited.

 

The meeting regarding a new Club Website and Social Media was full of ideas which hopefully will be progressed quickly.

 

There was a good turn-out of parents for the Feile meeting and vetting will be completed on Thursday. If anyone else is interested in hosting during Feile they need to contact the club asap in order for their vetting to be through on time. We could still do with another couple of homes in case of emergencies.

 

The Senior Footballers played Ballymartin on Friday at a bitterly cold and windy Pats Road while the U16s entertained Atticall in similar conditions on Sunday morning.

 

Some of the younger girls took advantage of the midterm break with a shopping trip to Newry on Monday past.

 

Thanks to those who helped with or supported 'Rory's Stories' at Dunavil on Saturday night, a good time was had by all.

 

In the Basketball Premier League, the Knights played Tyrone Towers in Dungannon winning by 85 points to 67.

 

As part of 'Spórt, Spraoi, Sláinte' exercise and stay healthy 'Le Gaeilge' there will be pilates for teens and adults at Dunavil on Sunday 4th March from 11am to 12pm and as part of 'Seachtain na Gaeilge' there will be Hip-Hop 'Le Gaeilge' on Wednesday 14th March at 6.30pm for primary school age and at 7.45pm for secondary school age. Both events are free and open to all.
