Donegal clubs will vote on Monday night on whether to hand Rory Gallagher another four years as manager.

The Fermanagh native has already served two years and Donegal PRO Ed Byrne is confident that club delegates will agree to his request to remain in the role until 2020.

""Everyone at the meeting will have a vote and, ultimately, it will come down to the clubs and what they want," he told the Irish News.

"I would expect most people would support him, but it's down to the clubs and what they want.

"A four-year deal is something new. Rory is prepared to stay for four years so it's up to the clubs to decide if they wish to keep him for that length of time."
