Repair work carried out on Convoy

January 23, 2015

Donegal GAA's centre of excellence has undergone some repair work after the pitches were badly cut out over the winter.

Repair work on the surface of both training pitches was needed after teams training during the bad weather had seen the pitches cut up badly.

However, county development officer Terence McShea told the Donegal Democrat that the necessary work had been carried out and that the pitches were almost ready to be used again.

"Both pitches were verti-drained the week before last and they have dried up well. The weather has picked up this week and is pretty favourable so I am hopeful that they will be re-open again and possibly as early as next week."
