Donegal midfielder Neil Gallagher says he will make himself available to Jim McGuinness's successor in 2015.

Galliagher was an All Star during Donegal's 2012 All-Ireland SFC success and won his third Ulster championship with the Tir Chonaill men this past season.

The Glenswilly man is now looking forward to next season and feels that the team still has plenty of potential to add more silverware to the cabinet, despite McGuinness's departure.

"It has been some journey over these last four years," Gallagher told Donegal TV.

"I can only speak for myself at the minute but I'll be battering away anyway and playing out the club championship.

"If the new manager wants to pick me, the grand. There are a lot of us around the 31 or 32 bracket. You saw Christy Toye there, who missed a year out and came back and had a great year. He's the same age as myself and there plenty of football still there."
