Donegal will welcome midfielder Neil Gallagher back to training next week.

Gallagher missed the Round Seven league clash with Dublin at Ballybofey due to a groin injury but will be back on board as preparations are stepped up for the May 26th Ulster SFC meeting with Tyrone at the same venue.

The defending Ulster and All-Ireland champions will also welcome Neil McGee (knee) and Paddy McGrath (quad) back to training tonight, while Footballer of the Year Karl Lacey is making satisfactory progress and edging closer to a return.

Manager Jim McGuinness expects to have Ryan Bradley (hamstring) and David Walsh (shoulder) available for the first-round clash with the Red Hands. Tweet
