Kavanagh to join Century Club
May 19, 2012

Donegal's Rory Kavanagh
Rory Kavanagh will make his 100th appearance for Donegal in tomorrow's Ulster SFC opener against Cavan at Kingspan Breffni Park.
The St. Eunan's clubman made his senior inter-county debut in a NFL game against Cork in March 2002, having played for the Donegal U21s in the Ulster championship the previous day. He has been a mainstay of the Donegal team ever since, having played on the sides that won Allianz League and Ulster SFC titles in 2007 and 2011 respectively.
The midfielder, who played his 99th game for Donegal in the final round of the Allianz League against Armagh on April 8, is now poised to join team-mates Colm McFadden and Christy Toye in the '100 Club'. He becomes only the sixth St. Eunan's play to achieve such a feat, following in the footsteps of Noel McCole (123 appearances), John Hannigan (114), Seamus Hoare (107), Brendan Devenney (104) and Mark Crossan (101).
